I’m Catharine and I live in the village of Scotton near Knaresborough. I’m a huge animal lover, but my absolute favourite animal is the cat. I’ve had my own cats for over 3 decades and my current cat is a ginger and white tom cat, appropriately named Tommi. He’s an old boy now at 16 and he has diabetes, so I inject him with insulin twice a day. He is undoubtably the boss of the household and rightly so!
I have many years experience of working with cats, including working in a cattery for over 3 years where I have gained invaluable knowledge of caring for cats. I understand cats’ needs and behaviours and I am used to different breeds of cats and have looked after all types ranging from bengals, persians & rag dolls to the beautiful moggie. I have done online courses in Animal First Aid and also a Diploma in Feline Behaviour & Psychology.
When I’m not looking after cats I’m drawing them! I draw pet portraits and of course my favourite subject is the cat!
I am a very trustworthy reliable person and I will ensure that your important family member is very well cared for while you are away and gets lots of love. I am also happy to put out rubbish/recycling, switch lights on/off, open/close curtains while you are away, as required. I am happy to do an initial meet and greet so that we can chat about specific requirements while you are away.
I am fully insured and DBS checked.
